Kisan Toli Gramin Aachar Udyog

Kisan Toli Gramin Aachaar Udyog is a cooperative Self-Help Group based on the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal of going local and helping Village people become self-sufficient and self-sustainable. Kisan Toli Gramin Aachaar Udyog is a cooperative where each family is a share holder and each family earns their income based on the number of hours they contribute towards the production of Aachaar.

This is a simple and easy model and is completely based on a democratic community and confraternity. The organization is by the families, of the families and for the families and for those people in the community who need help.

The Aachaars are all homemade and purely based on the recipes handed down since ancient times. All the Aachaars are purely organic and there are no preservatives added or any other chemical formulation to give it either a cosmetic upgrade or taste.  

 

Where do we want to go with this?

From 5 families to 5000 families in 5 years

The idea with Kisan Toli Gramin Aachaar Udyog is to eventually take it to 5000 (five thousand) families in the next 5 years from the 5 families that the project is taking off with. So, 5000 parents and their children in the future will be able to continue their simple yet prosperous life and yet have the means for an education and have access to the privileges that the modern world of education and medicine has to offer.

Furthermore, this project is to fuel the idea and passion of being and going local and exploiting the opportunities and resources that is locally available. It is also to instill the seeds of enterprise and community.

Additionally, and most importantly is to instill and share with every shareholder and partner who are engaged in the success and activities of the Kisan Toli Gramin Aachaar Udyog the benefits and the need for going organic and staying away from anything that is remotely artificial.
